Historic Hillsville – a Crooked Road Community – is home to the annual Labor Day Gun Show and Flea Market attracting around 500,000 hungry shoppers each Labor Day weekend and home to the Historic Carroll County “Shootout” Courthouse in downtown Historic Hillsville. Many fine shops, restaurants, and attractions make Hillsville a must-stop while visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Since the beginning of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Hillsville has been an integral part of its community and served as a rest stop and source for services, lodging, and relaxation. The many historic and outdoor opportunities in Hillsville make a visit here part of a true Blue Ridge Parkway experience.
