The Stecoah community provides recreational and cultural opportunities for Blue Ridge Parkway visitors. Located in Graham County, Stecoah is a gateway community to the Parkway.
How We're Doing Our Part
Stecoah is a community that owes its vitality to a small group of stewards who kept the community center together when the school (circa 1926) was closed due to consolidation. These advocates created the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center, a non-profit corporation whose core value of preservation is consistent with the values of the Parkway. The Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center preserves and promotes mountain culture and history and advocates for sustaining a healthy Blue Ridge Parkway.
