In its seventh year, the Songcatcher Music Series showcases acoustic music with roots in the Southern Appalachians and the musicians who nurture the tradition of passing this heritage on to others. Concerts begin with a 30-minute opening act by local musicians. After a short break, the featured performer will begin. Concerts take place in the wheelchair-accessible outdoor amphitheatre when weather permits; otherwise they will be in the Forest Discovery Center. Picnics are welcome.
