The public is invited to participate in this program that encourages “untold stories” related to natural resource stewardship and national parks. Special guest Nancy Stimson, Chief of Interpretation at Fort Smith National Historic Site in Fort Smith, AR, will present Natural Resource Stewardship – An American Indian Legacy and Model for Our Future.

Cherokee Middle School

A light reception will begin at 5:00 p.m.; the program will start at 6:00 p.m. There is no charge to participate. All events will take place at the new “green” school campus, 1582 Ravensford Circle, Cherokee, North Carolina.

Directions to School: From Acquoni Road (which parallels 441), turn right onto Big Cove Road just past the Best Western. Travel approximately 1.5 miles to new school campus on right. Be sure to use the middle school entrance.
