40 Days + 40 Nights of Arts and Culture Along the Blue Ridge Parkway will connect visitors to southwest Virginia’s performances, concerts, festivals, plays, galleries/exhibitions, comedy, culinary/wine tastings, and more beginning October 1 and ending November 9, 2010.

It all begins in downtown Roanoke, the largest neighboring city on the parkway and home to the Taubman Museum of Art, Center in the Square, featuring local artisans and food vendors, and Art By Night – the monthly gallery crawl featuring regional artists. 4040 Fall Get-away Packages at area hotels, FREE/discounted events and tickets, and more await those who take the 4040 Challenge by attending an event each day.
