Graham County Artist Studios & Galleries
Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center
Discover handcrafted treasures and meet the artists who create them. The Artisans Drive-About is a self-guided driving tour of artisan studios and galleries in Graham County, in the far western region of North Carolina. Experience the beauty of the Nantahala National Forest and the Great Smoky Mountains on your drive-about to visit local artists’ studios and galleries.
Just 35 miles from milepost 460 of the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can begin your drive-about at the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center in the delightful gallery. While at the gallery, pick up a map of the local shops, studios and galleries that feature the artists and craftspeople of western North Carolina then discover the craftspeople and artisans. The summer drive-about coincides with a silent auction to benefit the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center. The fall drive-about is on Thanksgiving weekend and is a great way to kick off the holiday shopping season.
