Celebrate the beauty of Virginia’s dogwood and bluebirds while developing and expanding your skills in blacksmithing through directed forging. Techniques used will be forge welding, texture forging, tenon joinery, repousse, and brazing. A discussion and exploration of organic form will also be part of the class. Prerequisites for the class include at least 2 beginning level classes or equivalent experience, fire management skills and basic hand forging techniques.
