The 6th Annual Chinquapin Festival celebrates the soon-to-ripen Chinquapins, a nut-bearing shrub indigenous to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Craft vendors will be on site selling their goods. Locally grown produce, including sweet corn, will be available. Live old-time and bluegrass music. Hay bale maze, food and fun in the fields. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy this traditional festival within 200 yards of the Blue Ridge Parkway on a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain farm.
