Festival Field at Chateau Morrisette
287 Winery Road (Milepost 171.5, Blue Ridge Parkway)
Floyd, VA

Chateau Morrisette’s location at Milepost 171.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway is a prestigious site offering a breathtaking drive for customers and visitors. Not only do visitors have the opportunity to experience the Blue Ridge Parkway on their way to Chateau Morrisette, but upon arrival visitors also see that Chateau Morrisette is committed to preserving the beauty of our natural surroundings. An outdoor natural amphitheater hosts outdoor musical festivals at least three times each year. Guests are encouraged to bring their children and favorite pets to share a pristine setting. Local area artists, advocates, and youth are encouraged to participate in these festivals and are able to receive exposure and impart their art, heritage, and culture to guests from around the country.

Sharing an anniversary year and celebrating 30 years of successful winemaking in 2010, Chateau Morrisette has long advocated conservation of the Parkway’s natural setting and safeguards its own property by careful maintenance and protection of natural resources. Offering visitors a unique experience 12 months a year, guests are exposed to Chateau Morrisette and the Blue Ridge Parkway during all four seasons. Continuation of a protected environment within our community and upholding preservation concepts first instituted by the Parkway has long been a goal of Chateau Morrisette, which considers the Parkway a partner. Partial proceeds of sales of Chateau Morrisette Mile Marker 469 and Mile Marker 000 wines are contributed to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation and further their educational goals and mission. Working together with mutual goals ensures continuation of one of America’s pristine treasures.
