Brevard and Transylvania County will celebrate the ARTS with a week dedicated to the visual and performing arts with more than 30 events in one week. Enjoy the Brevard 4th Friday Gallery Walk, the opening of the world-renowned Brevard Music Center, the Fine Arts and Crafts Showcase, an open mic nite for writers, street dances, music jams, and much more. Arts & Culture Week is a way to showcase the Arts & Culture of Transylvania County. The week will feature “real” mountain music, street dances, and a gallery walk to see artwork by local artists including 16 sculptures and 5 murals. The Brevard Music Center will open for their season and the TC Arts Council will host the 38th annual Fine Arts & Crafts Showcase during Brevard’s 4th Of July Celebration. Visitors will get to experience the arts and culture of our county by attending events in theatre, music, dance, literature, and the visual arts.
