Blue Ridge Parkway Mile Post 238.5, Doughton Park
The Brinegar Celebration located at Brinegar Cabin and Historic Homestead at Blue Ridge Parkway Mile Post 238.5 offers seminars to illustrate how life was lived in the early 20th century. Weaving and spinning demonstrations, as well as other demonstrations, of the skills early settlers had to learn in order to survive in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Free admission.
