The Blowing Rock Art & History Museum (BRAHM) holds the Blowing Rock Art and Antique Show every summer. Fifteen to 20 vendors gather each year to showcase their unique items inspired by life in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains over a three-day period. It serves as BRAHM’s only fundraiser conducted during the year to raise operating funds and increase awareness of the Museum’s goals of educating people on the history of Blowing Rock, nestled right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. BRAHM starts off the weekend with a Silver Tea and Early Bird Sale on Thursday, followed by the main show Friday through Sunday. BRAHM is another part of the Blowing Rock community celebrating the history of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the relationship of the two. Once the museum is complete, the Parkway will have a prominent display showcasing its history.
