Billy Edd Wheeler is the Honorary Chair of this four-day event celebrating art and flowers, with a Blue Ridge Parkway theme for 2010. This is our 4th annual Art In Bloom, and this year’s floral designers will be asked to use a minimum of one native plant in their arrangements. The Saturday photo tour/lecture on the “Flora of the Blue Ridge Parkway” will be by Warren Wilson professor of Sustainable Forestry, Dave Ellum. There is also a preview party, a tea and fashion show of wearable art and a garden tour featuring plein air artists painting outdoors in every garden.
