The Vinton Dogwood Festival is Americana at its best. The festival kicks off spring for Vinton and the Roanoke Valley. A crowd favorite is the parade during the afternoon. Other activities include an antique car show featuring over 100 vehicles, a large craft show, distance run, children’s activity area. Three entertainment stages showcase music and dance during the day and evening. The 2010 festival and parade will highlight the 75th Anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The festival location is only three to five minutes from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway.
